How pretty do these retro Lebus chest of drawers look in pink?
The original handles refinished in gold sit boldly against and the Pink Fusion Mineral Paint in Damask. The sides have been given their own beautiful makeover and adorned in tropical wallpaper, which with its pink tones compliments the paintwork.
Four drawers, with dovetail joints ensure there is plenty of storage for those essentials, clothes or hallway necessities.

This 19th century dressing table is one of the most beautiful pieces to find it’s way to the Kimteriors workshop,

A wonderfully shaped curved dressing table, that is fitted with a central cloud mirror with two oval mirrors on rotating platforms on either side. The central mirrors and the mirrors on either side of the central mirror, sit on beautiful carved supports and the side mirrors can be rotated 360 degrees.

Beautiful Burr Walnut predominantly features through the whole pieces and shines through the original varnish.

Open the three spacious drawers with original brass handles and hide away any beauty products that you do not want on display.

The dressing table sits in eight elegantly carved cabriole legs, which beautiful carvings appearing at the top of each.

The piece comes supplied with plate glass to preserve the tops of the piece.

Nathan make iconic statement pieces combined with a bold colour and you have a stunning piece that adds a modern twist on a mid-century piece.

This cabinet is a piece of pure sunshine. We have gone bold with Annie Sloan Carnaby Yellow a colour that has bought a smile to my face every day this week. Black hairpin legs add to the modern transformation giving what would have been a low piece of furniture some modern height.

4 spacious drawers and a large double cupboard ensure there is lots of space for all of those essentials or to be used a fabulous drinks cabinet.

Upcycling turns things into other things and that is just magic and magic is the only way to describe the feeling I had when I stood back to look at her fitted out in her new attire. I hope someone will love this Art Deco inspired beauty as much as I do.

Painted in a Buntys Total Eclipse mix that highlights the central gold pigment detailing on the doors. The exposed central door was too beautiful to cover up and has been given new life with three coats of Osmo oil.

Inside, there are two glass shelves inside of either cupboard, ensuring there is lots of space for displaying those drinks and glasses. The rear of the piece has the fabulous and fun Cattitude paper on from Divine Savages. The paper also appears on the the inside of the central door, where you will find another 3 shelves perfect for all those bottles and glasses. We have also installed two remote controlled lights so you highlight all of the beauties that will be stored.

Finally the 4 legs have been given their own touch of bling with gold pigment paint and the top left exposed whilst being treated with Osmo oil.

To say I am a little bit I love with this one is an understatement. Since creating this on the smaller pieces we’ve had our eye in creating it on the larger tallboy and it hasn’t disappointed.

Painted in the gorgeous Fusion Mineral Paint Damask and finished with gold Re·design with Prima Cherry Blossom moulds. The original handles have been cleaned to reveal their original gorgeous brass colour.

Four drawers and 3 smaller central drawers ensure that there is plenty of storage for all those clothes and beauty products.

Stag furniture always looks good no matter what colour outfit you put on it and one of my favourites is blush pink and gold which is what we have beautifully dressed this chest of drawers in.

Damask from the Fusion Mineral paint range is a popular shade of pink and compliments the gold pigment tones beautifully.

This spacious chest consists of 4 smaller drawers followed by two large deeper drawers.

We have kept the original handles and given them a new lease of life with sprayed gold and finally the 4 legs have been dipped in matching gold paint to match the gold band that flows round the whole piece.

The brief was inspired by the clients art deco birthday invitations and the love of the film The Great Gatsby!

She has been painted in Indigo Blue from the Tikkurila paint range, with gold pigments from Posh Chalk Interiors adorning the entire cabinet.

The grain on the cabinet had to be a highlight, so once stripped it was then treated in our favourite Osmo oil. The multi-layered Empire onlays from Stencil Up scream art deco and had to be included in the design!

This was then continued onto the inside with the design appearing as an onlay on the top and a stencil on the bottom two doors! As usual, mirror was added for additional cocktail cabinet glamour with cocktail sticks added to sit alongside the beautiful original brass tray.

A classically elegant chest of five drawers bought into the modern era using Buntys Total Eclipse Black and gold pigments.

This stand out piece is made up of 5 exposed fronted drawers, four beautiful feet, with gold highlighting each drawer. Each drawers exposed wood has been treated with Osmo oil.

The exposed top is framed in black with a painted gold border to detail the change in woods

Each handle has been lovingly restored to bring out the original colour and shine.

This stunning piece is designed to bring life to what would have previously been a neglected corner.

The exposed teak has been revitalised with furniture salve is, a nod back to its origins which contrasts beautifully against the dark black paint colour. The iconic Nathan squares and shelf edging have been highlighted in gold to give the piece an additional piece of glamour.

The inside has again been treated with furniture salve and has had a gold geometric pattern on for a retro pop of interest and colour when the doors are opened.

This piece can be used to display beautiful items or as a place to store and prepare your favourite drinks.

Nathan Black and Silver Corner Display Drinks Cabinet

To say I am a little bit I love with this one is an understatement. We had underestimated how beautiful it would look on the backdrop of the elegant Stag Tallboy.

Painted in the luscious Buntys Paints Total Eclipse with one of my favourite transfers from Re·design with Prima, Elegance and Flowers. Muted gold bands frame the three middle drawers and the base. The original hardware has been cleaned up and re-loved with matching gold tones.

Four drawers and 3 smaller central drawers ensure that there is plenty of storage for all those clothes and beauty products.

Blue Floral Cocktail Display Cabinet, Norfolk Upcycling, Cambridgeshire furnituere

Looking for something similar to our Art Nouveau butterfly wardrobe without the butterfly’s, the lovely Amanda commissioned this wardrobe to be painted with the beautiful Fusion Mineral Paint Damask and Pressed Fern!

Such a pretty combination. The wood grain on the top third of the wardrobe was too pretty to be covered up and has been lovingly sanded back and treated with Osmo oil!

We all know, Gold is classic. William Shakespeare said ”Gold – what it not do, and undo?” it makes design appealing, elegant, classic and in the same time luxurious and when combined with original beauty, deep navy blue this creates a dramatic and timeless effect.

The sideboard consists of three cupboards, with the central double cupboard being transformed into a luxurious drinks cabinet.

The whole unit has been stripped back to its beautiful bare bones. Fusion Midnight Blue has been used only to frame and enhance the beautiful Burr Walnut grain. Deep gold highlights all of the beautiful carved areas. The main attraction is the grain of the wood which has been highlighted and nourished with 3 coats of Osmo varnish.

The two outer cupboards have remained in their original condition, with the wood being treated with a furniture salve. Open the central double doors and let light flood into your new drinks cabinet area. Mirror adorns the base and rear, adding an additional feel of luxury. A glass rack, capable of holding up to 9 glasses sits to the right leaving plenty of space for smaller glasses underneath and a vast space to the left for all of those important bottles. As a bonus cocktail stick holders and sticks have been placed on the newly painted blue doors.

Beautiful Beautility comes in so many shapes and sizes and our latest piece is a high board which was screaming for some attention.

The Art Deco style cabinet has been stripped back and painted in Fusion Coal Black with gold detailing a feature from the legs to the stencilling. The two cupboards feature a geometric stencilled design, with the interior of these two cupboard featuring black and gold detail.

The wow factor continues on the upper half with both glass compartments featuring new mirrored backs which reflect the new gold Art Deco onlays. The central cupboard has been given an equal touch of glamour with mirrors installed to the rear and bottom, gold glass hanging racks and a motion sensored light add to the feeling of luxury. Hexagonal knobs which reflect the shapes of the stencil and onlays finish off the detailing perfectly.

Our love of dark blue and gold interiors continues with this beautiful cocktail cabinet. Gold leaf on the rear of each cupboard, along with the gold legs and gold hardware make the deep blue tones on the wood of this piece pop.

The exposed wood sits elegantly against a back drop of deep navy blue, treated with Osmo oil it highlights and nourishes the stunning grain below.

Pull the lid of the cabinet down and the newly installed light and mirrors illuminate the area, preparing your cocktails has never looked so good! The original cocktail picks have been cleaned and reinstalled perfect for those additional garnishes.

Each glass cupboard has 2 original glass shelves, which enable the light from the newly installed remote controllable lights to illuminate the area from top to bottom.

Lastly open up the double cupboard and reveal plenty of storage for all of your cocktail paraphernalia, bottles and glasses. The rear of the cupboard has the same gold leaf, whereas the inside of the doors have been treated to a touch of peacock magic with a gold peacock mould.

Cocktail cabinets do not come much more handsome than this... Beautiful grain sits against timeless black with a nod to its Art Deco design with a trendy design highlighted in gold.

The Art Deco style cabinet has been stripped back and painted in Fusion Coal Black with gold detailing a featuring from the to the stencilling to the borders around the cabinet. Either side of the cabinet features geometric onlays from Stencil Up with the interior of the central cupboard featuring the same design on both the stencilled doors and inner panels. The original wooden veneer was cleaned and sanded back and then treated with Osmo UK oil to make the grain shine!

A cocktail cabinet wouldn’t be the same without the glamorous addition of mirror, in this cabinet we have featured it in both of the two large cupboards and on the base and rear of the central cupboard. Cocktail stick holders with matching brass cocktail sticks feature on both internal doors.

When Re·design with Prima released the beautiful Avian Sanctuary transfer, I knew I had to find a cabinet to use it on! I hope you will agree that this one suits it perfectly!

We couldn’t hide the exposed wood so, cleaned, sanded, cleaned and Osmo’d it to reveal its full beauty, which sits deliciously against my favourite blue, Fusion Mineral Paint Midnight Blue.

The Avian Sanctuary transfer has been placed on a gold leaf back and the peacocks sitting elegantly on their branches can be seen through the almost bird cage like effect gold detailing on the two doors.

Inside, there are two glass spacious shelves and a mirrored bottom, ensuring that the light emitted from the remote controlled battery run internal lights reflects back into the cabinet.

Glass panels on either side of the cabinet ensure that you can see into the cabinet from all sorts of angles. There are a few scratches on the front glasS doors but this does not affect the visual of the piece. The whole pierce sits elegantly on four gold Queen Anne legs.

The chest is made up of 4 drawers along the top followed by four deep larger drawers underneath. The drawers are made with traditional solid dovetail joints.

Stag is made from cherry mahogany and originally designed by John and Sylvia Reid in the mid 60s, combining quality, beauty and practicality, Stag Minstrel pieces have withstood the test of time.

This [piece formed the second part of a commission.

After inheriting this piece from their aunt, they contacted us to see if we could do anything to incorporate a simialr design to the cocktail cabinet we were working on.

This was painted in Fusion Mineral paint Midnight Blue, with gold edged detail. To incorporate the Surfacephilia wallpaper we added gold frames on both doors.

She sat beautifully with the pictuerd cocktail cabinet.

The last of the bedroom set… for now, is this gorgeous little stool to go with the dressing table. A massive thank you to Presiman Designs Fabric Design and Printing for printing and re-upholstering this stool which had definitely seen better days. I am very lucky to have such a talented lady so local to me!

This formed one of the final pieces of a 6 part commission. After recieiving her other pieces our client realised she had room for a chest of drawers, after some searching we managed to find a set which matched her existing pieces.

As with the other pieces a custom mix of Fusion Mineral Paint Pine and Midnight Blue make this gorgeous blue shade and the newly tinted Amber Osmo UK doors both compliment the clients new bed.

When our bedroom client sent me a video explains where all the pieces were going to feature in her new bedroom I knew straight away that we had to do something special with the sides of this ginormous triple wardrobe as this was the first thing you saw when you walked into the bedroom… luckily the client agreed and together we chose this beautiful print featuring a beautiful peacock and stalk.

Wanting something to glamourise the inside I suggested adding mirror to the pull out shelving which the client will be using to showcase her favourite shoes!

We sourced a gorgeous bedroom set, starting with this gorgeous dressing table. The piece has been painted in a custom mix of Pine Blue and Midnight Blue from the Fusion Mineral Paint range. The detailing has been highlighted in Silver Posh Chalk Interiors and Black wax. (Thank you Sue Chic for your help). In a change to our usual clear varnish we opted for Amber tinted Osmo UK. The interiors has been treated in White Tea furniture salve from Thirteen Furniture Co. It smells devine!

(Thank you Sue Chic for your help) To tie the jewelry box in with the peacocks on the wardrobe we moulded to peacocks to appear on either door. These were painted in the same silver and black wax.

This is a beautiful and unusual teak sideboard from A.Younger dating from mid 1960s.

The Jacobean-style paneling on doors makes this sideboard stand out from the crowd. Comprising of three drawers with the top drawer having dividers, a large double cupboard in the centre, with a removable shelf, and a single cupboard on the end.

Very stylish,with tapering teak legs typical of the era. The handles are original to the cabinet. Although British made this sideboard exudes a very strong Danish influence in its design.

Painted in Frenchic After Midnight, a gorgeous deep teal, the paint colour beautifully compliments the teak tones of the refinished top. All three drawers have been framed in gold and to display the length a little more gold strips were added to the base.
