This is a beautiful and unusual teak sideboard from A.Younger dating from mid 1960s.
The Jacobean-style paneling on doors makes this sideboard stand out from the crowd. Comprising of three drawers with the top drawer having dividers, a large double cupboard in the centre, with a removable shelf, and a single cupboard on the end.
Very stylish, with tapering teak legs typical of the era. The handles are original to the cabinet. Although British made this sideboard exudes a very strong Danish influence in its design.
Painted in Frenchic After Midnight, a gorgeous deep teal, the paint colour beautifully compliments the teak tones of the refinished top. All three drawers have been framed in gold and to display the length a little more gold strips were added to the base.
