The brief was inspired by the clients art deco birthday invitations and the love of the film The Great Gatsby!
 
She has been painted in Indigo Blue from the Tikkurila paint range, with gold pigments from Posh Chalk Interiors adorning the entire cabinet.
 
The grain on the cabinet had to be a highlight, so once stripped it was then treated in our favourite Osmo oil. The multi-layered Empire onlays from Stencil Up scream art deco and had to be included in the design!
 
This was then continued onto the inside with the design appearing as an onlay on the top and a stencil on the bottom two doors! As usual, mirror was added for additional cocktail cabinet glamour with cocktail sticks added to sit alongside the beautiful original brass tray.
