This is the second of our neutral pieces finished in the pretty Algonquin. In my opinion definitely a colour that gets overlooked too often!

As I said earlier in the week, the warmth of neutral colours paired with the natural tones of wood are definitely an interior trend that has been featuring heavily in my socials feeds recently and I think I am seeing why.

The sideboard consists of two cupboards, with the central section homing 3 spacious drawers.

The whole unit has been stripped back to its beautiful bare bones. Algonquin has been used only to frame and enhance the beautiful grain. Gold highlights have been used throughout to accentuate the detailing on the edges and the raised detail on the doors. The main attraction is the grain of the wood which has been highlighted and nourished with 3 coats of Osmo varnish. On either side we have created a gold and Algonquin frame which leaves more of the feature wood on display.

The two outer cupboards have remained in their original condition, with the wood being treated with a furniture salve. Each door has been given a pop of interest using the new White engraving transfer which sits elegantly against the painted door.
