Join Kim from Kimteriors as she guides you through the basics of transforming old furniture into new treasures, with this introduction to furniture upcycling course. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, you'll learn everything you need to know to walk away with a professional looking piece of furniture. By the end of this course, you will have the skills to turn old, worn out furniture into beautiful new pieces for your home. -Learn where to find the perfect furniture to upcycle, -How to prepare it -Master essential painting skills to bring your creative designs to life. -Plus, you’ll learn how to protect your furniture to ensure its durability and long life. All we ask is that you bring along a small piece of furniture, such as a table or bedside cabinet) and we’ll guide you every step of the way. (Please send us an email with a picture of your piece so we discuss colour ideas) If you’re unsure of what to bring or where to buy, we’ve got you covered with an online video and worksheet available upon purchase. Let’s turn old into gold together! All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. All other materials will be providing, including your own information pack to take home, detailing all that is covered in the workshop. What do you need to bring with you on the day? We'll provide all the boards and materials you need to bring your creative vision to life. Just bring yourself and wear a set of old clothes - it's going to be a messy but incredibly fun journey to learn how to add those perfect finishing touches to any piece! Tea, coffee and water/squash will be provided on the day. You will also need to bring some lunch with you and hopefully we can picnic in the tranquility of the Alpaca paddocks . Additional lunch can be provided by our local bakery in Crowland, Trinity bakery and can be purchased for; Option 1- Sandwich and a cake £5.90 Option 2- Sandwich, cake and sausage roll £8.00 Gluten free or vegan changes are £2.00 per person. Please use the booking form to indicate that you would like lunch provided and we can supply the menus to order your food. You will be lucky enough to be learning with the view of the alpacas in the fields with the opportunity to get closer to the animals over lunch!
